Signed at the 5th annual NYC Basketball Hall of Fame induction dinner, this great orb features eleven signatures from the 1949-50 City College of New York hoops squad, who were inducted as a team in 1994. The CCNY Beavers are best known as the only team who won both the NIT and NCAA tournament in the same year. Signatures here include, Al Roth, LeRoy Watkins, Floyd Lane, Irwin Dambrot, Norm Mager, Ron Nadell, Stan Schwartz, Herb Cohen, Ed Warner, Bobby Sane, and Joe Galiber. The team's claim to infamy came the following year when seven of the team's players were convicted in a point shaving schedule. LOA from PSA/DNA.
