Description
1948 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. This is probably the nicest ball in the bunch, but tragically John Hart seemed to agree, choosing to add his name and signature to the southern panel, and a notation relating to the date of the signing under Ruth's autograph on the sweet spot. This 1975 addition conflicts with PSA/DNA's policy of grading baseballs only signed by players and celebrities, so the assessment is our own. We rate Ruth's autograph a 9/10, and the OAL (Harridge) ball an 8/10. Easily approaching the six-figure mark in the absence of Hart's writing, this ball is estimated at just a small fraction of that figure here. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
