    Description

1947 Roger Hornsby Signed Caricature. "People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers Hornsby

This is the kind of dedication to his craft which enabled Hornsby to record a .402 batting average over a five season span (1921-25) and also capture National League Triple Crowns in both 1922 and 1925. Signed and dated to February 5, 1947; this sketch drawing of Rogers Hornsby is signed in bold blue ink with the date of signature noted. Signature is 10/10 quality. JSA Auction LOA.
