1945 Honus Wagner Handwritten Signed Note re: Mathewson & Young, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10. Just to clarify, the Gem Mint 10 rating from PSA/DNA is for the quality of Wagner's ink, and not for the content (which deserves a similar grade). Exceptional in every regard, this note on a clipped lined page provides endless historical appeal as one of the game's premier batsmen comments on his toughest adversaries. His flawless black fountain pen ink states:

Christy Mathewson--Greatest Pitcher. Old Cy Young won over 500 Games, Yours, J. Honus Wagner, Pirates Coach 1945.

The note measures 2x7" in size and is encapsulated with a perfect rating from PSA/DNA, which designates this as a piece from the John Blattner Collection, whose Hall of Fame autograph compilation sits at number two on the PSA/DNA registry.
