    Description

1944 St. Louis Cardinals Signed Photographs Lot of 25. Terrific collection of individual portraits of the World Championship Cardinals was almost assuredly a team-issued affair, as each 4x5" image is rendered with the highest photographic quality and a background of Sportsman's Park grandstands or dugout. This comprehensive compilation is of the highest quality, with each NRMT-MT image featuring 9/10 or better ink autographs with few exceptions. Most are personalized to "Bob," a catcher named Robert Keely who got into two games in his Big League career, serving almost exclusively in the bullpen. Highlights include Musial, Gonzalez, Brecheen, Martin, Marion, Hopp, Cooper and Lanier. Also here is a flawless, though unsigned, team group shot (8x10") we believe to have been snapped at the same time as the individual portraits, NRMT. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
