    1944 Babe Ruth Signed Letter. Simply the finest Babe Ruth autograph in existence, provided here upon a typed letter on "Spalding" letterhead inviting a young ballplayer to the Babe's NBC radio show. Nothing short of a 10/10 grade could possibly be rendered in this case, and the letter itself is equally fine, with original mailing folds and the slightest of inconsequential edge wear the only condition issues of note. Though the Babe signed hundreds of thousands of autographs in his life, autographed letters make up a surprisingly small percentage of that supply, and none could compete with the offered specimen.
