    Description

1943 Ty Cobb Signed Check with Pete Rose. When talking baseball, no two players showed more prowess for getting hits than Ty Cobb and Pete Rose. Perhaps two of the most controversial players as well, both men have nonetheless earned their place in baseball lore. With Cobb finishing at 4,191 hits, Rose bettered the record by sixty-five hits, entrenching himself in the record books at 4,256. Regardless of the black mark on his career for betting on baseball, no one can take away the fact that "Charlie Hustle" played every game to win, while "The Georgia Peach" is still remembered as one of the fiercest competitors in the history of the game.

With the value of Cobb autographs so high, there are very few collectors who have dared have Rose add his signature to a Cobb piece to make a dual-signed item, making this check a rare find. Cobb and Rose both present as 8/10 and the check itself has one neat vertical fold. A staple hole also appears in the top left of the check. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
