    Description

1943 Hazen "Ki Ki" Cuyler Signed Government Postcard. Back at Wrigley Field with the team he represented as a player between 1928 and 1935, the Hall of Fame outfielder was passing on his considerable knowledge as a coach when he answered one fan's autograph request with this penny postcard. In 10/10 black fountain pen ink, he writes, "Sincerely yours, Hazen 'Ki Ki' Cuyler, Coach Chicago Cubs 1943." Chicago postmark on verso is dated "May 27, 1943." A small piece of tape at center top is noted only for the sake of full disclosure, causing no concern. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.
