1943 Babe Ruth Signed World Series Program with Ticket Stubs (4). He played in ten of them and attended many more as a spectator, so Babe Ruth and the World Series will always make a fitting pair. The Bambino was eight years into his retirement when he was approached by a fan at Yankee Stadium where the wartime Yanks were battling the St. Louis Cardinals. A 9/10 pencil signature on the official program's cover is the result. Center scorecards are unmarked; overall condition VG-EX. Also here are four stubs from the first three games (all in New York to reduce travel and conserve resources during the war). Stubs likewise average VG-EX. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
