    Description

1941 Philip K. Wrigley Signed Typed Letter. Son of the US chewing gum industrialist William Wrigley, Jr., Philip K. Wrigley took over the family businesses of Wrigley Gum and the Chicago Cubs. While the younger Wrigley was not as flamboyant as his father, he did introduce some innovations such as a precursor to modern-day collaborative coaching and the formation of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League during WWII. The typed letter that we present here, dating from 1941, has been signed in an elegant black fountain ink by Philip K. Wrigley. LOA from PSA/DNA.
