    1941 Babe Ruth Signed Check to His Wife, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10. Just eight days after the attack at Pearl Harbor drew the United States into the Second World War, the great Bambino wrote this check for one hundred dollars to his wife Claire. The boldest of black fountain pen ink is utilized, inspiring the experts at PSA/DNA to assign its most coveted rating. All writing on obverse, and the closing "GH Ruth" autograph, is in the Babe's hand, while the endorsing signature on reverse is Claire's. Check exhibits a few vertical fold lines to little distraction. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Gem Mint 10.
