    Description

1940's Earle Combs Single Signed Baseball. His 231 hits and twenty-three triples led the American League in 1927, facts largely overshadowed by fellow Hall of Famer Babe Ruth's sixty long balls clubbed that same World Championship season. But if Ruth is dozens of times more famous than Combs, he's thousands of times more common on single signed baseballs, with just six Combs examples surfacing at major auction in the past decade. This model provides sweet spot geography, the signature a respectable 6/10. The medium is likewise the desirable OAL (Harridge) format. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
