    Description

1940-42 Walter Johnson Single Signed Baseball. The unique stamping format of the provided OAL (Harridge) ball provides a three-year potential span of production for this ultra-tough single, one of the rarest among the inaugural class of the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Big Train claims a side panel of the creamy horsehide for his inscription, which reads, "To Bob, Best Wishes, Walter Johnson." Black fountain pen ink presents with 5/10 boldness. A solid mid-grade specimen from the most powerful arm of the twentieth century's first half. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
