1939 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Sheet with Gehrig. A fan's notation at the top of this removed autograph album page announces "N.Y. Baseball Players, year 1939," establishing the vintage to the season of the Iron Horse's tragic "Luckiest Man" farewell. His signature appears with the same 9/10 average boldness that characterizes all ten present, including that of Babe Dahlgren, who inherited the first base position that Gehrig was forced to retire after 2,130 consecutive games. Other notables include Gomez, Dickey, Ruffing, Selkirk and Raschi. Page has a rough edge at top from album removal, but this has no effect upon the signatures. Dimensions 4.5x6", slabbed by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.
