    Description

1939 Al Simmons Signed First Day Covers Lot of 10. It would be fourteen years before the star outfielder would be awarded his own Cooperstown plaque, but he received a rousing show of support from one fan in Chicago who requested a dozen signed first day covers issued at the Hall of Fame's opening ceremonies. All ten envelopes are addressed to a Dr. Stanley F. Przygocki and autographed in 10/10 black fountain pen ink by the thirty-seven year old slugger. We'll let one winning bidder control this unusual population. Each FDC is individually encapsulated by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic.
