1938 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball with Honus Wagner. The man whose face appears on the hobby's most expensive trading card was a sixty-four year old coach for his former squad when he joined twenty-three fellow Bucs on the gently toned hide of this ONL (Frick) baseball. The Hall of Fame talent doesn't end with the Old Dutchman however, as Pie Traynor, Arky Vaughan and both Waner brothers up the ante even further. Condition is yet another feather in the black and gold cap, as the vintage blue ink averages an impressive 8/10. Mild age toning and the slightest effects of handling wear do nothing to diminish the impressive visual effect of this historic sphere. Only a single autograph, that of veteran pitcher Red Lucas, has been deemed to be secretarial. You'll be hard pressed to find a ball with more marquee names than the one you see here. LOA from PSA/DNA.
