1936 Ty Cobb Handwritten Signed Letter with Baseball Content. Though the Georgia Peach was notorious for his bad temperament throughout his playing career, we find him to be quite congenial and generous with his time in his written correspondence. Such is the case here, as he responds to a fan's autograph request. In part: "I understand you are a baseball fan and know all the records, etc. I have been out of baseball since 1928 as you know and until I retired I used to receive many baseball photographs but the supply stopped and demand kept up and now I have no extra photographs, as much as I would like to send you one I can't." The single handwritten page on the Hall of Famer's personal letterhead is signed at the close, "I am Sincerely, Ty Cobb," and all ink rates 9/10. Original mailing folds, minor toning and punch holes at left edge that do not interfere with the text. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
