    Description

    1936 Babe Ruth Signed "Hospital Tag." Charming little (1.25x2") tag recalls the Babe's famous charitable side, as he autographed the piece in support of a fundraiser for a hospital in Nova Scotia. The Babe's black fountain pen ink rates a marvelous 9+/10, and verso is stamped "Sutherland Memorial Hospital Tag Day." Included is a photocopy of a newspaper clipping picturing Ruth at the Pictou Lobster Carnival associated with this charity event. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
