    Description

1935 New York Yankees Uniform Player's Contracts Lot of 6, Signed. With Babe Ruth wearing a Braves uniform and the great Joe DiMaggio yet to arrive in the Bronx, the Yankees were in a major period of transition when they executed these half-dozen contracts with various role players for the 1935 season. Each standard four-page contract features typed identifications of player and salary with autographs consenting to the terms from both the player and team owner Jake Ruppert on page three. American League president Will Harridge signs each cover as well. The players in question: James DeShong, Walter Brown, John Broaca, John Murphy, Vito Tamulis and Clifford Melton. All contracts exhibit original mailing folds but no other issues worthy of note. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
