    Description

1935 Honus Wagner, Pie Traynor, Paul Waner, Lloyd Waner, Arky Vaughan, Waite Hoyt & Al Simmons Multi-Signed Pittsburgh Pirates Program. "Souvenir Program and Official Scorecard, Pittsburgh Pirates of the National League. Training Series, 1935, Perris Hill Baseball Park, San Bernardino, California" was used at the dedication for the new ballpark and new Pirates' training facility. Scored for the first game versus the Los Angeles Angels.

Signed inside by forty including: Hall of Famers, Honus Wagner, Pie Traynor, Paul Waner, Lloyd Waner, Arky Vaughan, Waite Hoyt, and Al Simmons; All-Stars Gus Suhr, Cookie Lavagetto, Cy Blanton, Mace Brown, and Jimmy Dykes; Pirates' owner Bill Benswanger; and N.L. umpire Babe Pinelli. Also, intriguingly, one page has also been signed by Aubrey Epps, who only played one game in his MLB career, and who has the highest-batting average in MLB history!

The program is intact and in overall EX condition with vertical bend from being held at the ballpark. The signatures grade overall NRMT in strength. All are in pencil except for Benswanger who signed in fountain pen. Wagner, Traynor, Suhr, and Benswanger signed near their photos. Wagner is large, bold, and beautiful. The autographs were collected by Even D. Evensen, Jr. who was the San Bernardino High sports editor at the time. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
