    Description

1935 Babe Ruth Signed Cardinals Boys Band I.D. Card. The Babe was in his final season as a player when he made young Melvin York's day by signing the front of his "Cardinal Boys Band" identification card in 9/10 pencil. Joining him (upside down) is fellow Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean, one year after the great Gas House Gang World Championship. Card shows typical wear for a seventy-year old child's artifact, and while foxing and an inch-long tear meet with Dizzy's autograph, the Babe is unmolested. Verso of card has the rules of membership, which include promising never to skip school to attend a game. Measures 2.25x4". LOA from James Spence & Steve Grad/PSA DNA.
