1934 Ty Cobb Handwritten Signed Letter. Pick out your favorite photograph of the Georgia Peach, because this is a document begging to be matted and framed. The first resident of the Baseball Hall of Fame utilizes a page of his personal letterhead to boldly announce, "To Harold Jennings Hickox, My Sincerest Best Wishes, Ty Cobb." One must wonder if the "Jennings" name might have any connection to Cobb's old Hall of Fame manager Hughie. Included is original mailing envelope addressed (but not signed) by Cobb in the same 9+/10 black fountain pen ink that characterizes the letter. Page exhibits original mailing folds with just a quarter inch of separation at the edges, otherwise no problems to note. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
