We get to N.Y. about May 25th..." He also references the famous 1933 Long Beach earthquakes: "...We've had some real thrills around here. The earthquakes knocked us right out of bed. Nobody hurt on the club..." The letter is written on front and back of a single sheet of hotel letterhead, and signed with a full "Al Simmons" at the close. All ink is Mint, and the page itself exhibits original mailing folds otherwise Mint as well. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
