    Description

1932 Lou Gehrig & Gertrude Ederle Signed Program. A perfectly flawless 10/10 pencil signature from the New York Yankees' durable first basemen joins that of the Olympic Gold Medalist and first woman to swim the English Channel. Ederle's autograph is equally strong, and found just above Gehrig's on the cover of this charming program for the February 4, 1932 Father and Son Banquet at the Vernon Heights (NY) Men's Club. The program itself shows no noteworthy condition flaws, just a single horizontal center fold that does not transverse either signature. Gehrig's autograph continues to climb in value with each passing year, so any investment in a top quality example such as this is a wise one. LOA from PSA/DNA.
