    Description

1932 Cy Young Single Signed Baseball. We aren't saying that we don't love every Cy Young autograph we see, but let's face it, almost every one is that geriatric format, a little bit loose, perhaps even a little shaky. It's not often that we encounter a pre-war single from the most significant name in pitching, so there's plenty of reason to celebrate this blue and red stitched American League ball apparently used in a game before being presented to Young for his signature. It survives with impressive 8/10 average boldness on the ball's side panel, beneath an equally well preserved date of "Aug. 18th, 1932," likewise in Young's hand. Unquestionably one of the most appealing Young singles to come down the pike in the past few years, an essential component for any quality Hall of Fame autograph collection.
