    Description

1932 Chicago Cubs Stars Signed Baseball with Tris Speaker. With just eight signatures taking up residence upon this "Official League" ball, the terminology "team signed" doesn't quite apply, but the savvy Depression-era autograph hound definitely picked the top names from this National League Championship squad. Hall of Famers Ki Ki Cuyler, Rogers Hornsby and Gabby Hartnett represent Wrigley's best and brightest, and Tris Speaker sneaks in as well, each surviving in the same 9+/10 blue fountain pen ink that characterizes the totality of the autographs. Others present are Smith, Jurges, English and Taylor (8/10). Ball is evenly toned to an attractive tan shade. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500.
