    Description

1932 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. A vintage notation in an unknown hand dates this hobby essential to the 1932 season, one best remembered for the Babe's "Called Shot" in the third game of the World Series. We have no reason to doubt that assignation, as it would match the specs of this OAL (Harridge) ball and the red and blue stitching which would be discontinued two years later. Ruth's sweet spot signature rates an impressive 8/10, dotted with a bit of foxing that occupies the northern and western panels as well. JSA Auction LOA.
