    Description

1932 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Sheet with Photo Documentation. The Babe's generosity to children is almost as legendary as his exploits with a Hillerich & Bradsby in his hands, and here yet again we see definitive proof of the former. The vintage 8x10" photograph of Ruth and some of his Yankee pals outside a Long Island restaurant pictures a smiling Sultan surrounded by adoring young fans. The Babe's left hand rests upon the shoulder of a husky young lad in a white shirt who holds a slip of white paper in his own left hand. We present that very piece here, a 3.5x5" page signed by (from top to bottom) Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Henry Johnson, Geo. W. Pipgras and Art Jorgens. A vintage notation in another hand at bottom notes the place and date: "At Lindenhurst, Barnical (sic) Bills, May 5, 1932." The photograph shows significant creasing near the borders, but the image area remains free of distractions. The signed sheet reveals vintage tape repair that encounters the autographs of all but Gehrig, though does not derail the tremendous desirability. The signatures rate a consistent 8/10 in boldness. Each piece is expertly matted and framed along with the original negative of the photo that pictures a happy young man with the prize of a lifetime. 14x19" framed. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
