    Description

1931 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It was the Babe's last of a dozen seasons atop the American League home run leaderboard, a position he shared with Lou Gehrig at forty-six. Each appear upon this Junior National League sphere, a ball with red and blue stitching that perfectly mimics American League models of the time. Ruth takes his standard sweet spot position, while Gehrig shares a side panel with Tony Lazzeri and Cy Perkins to the west. Fourteen autographs appear in total, with other notables including Combs, Gomez, Dickey, Pennock and Ruffing. A couple autographs are quite light, but all Hall of Famers rate 6/10 or better, with Ruth and Gehrig surviving at an impressive 8/10. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
