    Description

1931 New York Yankees Signed Baseball with Ruth, Gehrig. The Depression-era fan who served as the original owner of this "Babe Ruth Special" ball sure knew how to pick them. Of the seven signatures adorning the sphere's lightly toned hide, only Roy Sherid lacks a Cooperstown plaque. The rest are household names for any true baseball fan: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Herb Pennock, Joe McCarthy, Tony Lazzeri and Earle Combs. Each of the fountain pen ink signatures rates between 6/10 and 8/10, with the sweet spot Babe the strongest of the bunch. A genuine treasure for the Yankees enthusiast. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
