1930 Ty Cobb Signed Check & Matching Register Stub. The Georgia Peach withdrew $300 from his Augusta, Georgia bank two years after his retirement from baseball with the presented check, which was later affixed with glue to the corresponding stub from his register book. All writing, and the authorizing "Tyrus R. Cobb" autograph, is rendered in his 9/10 black fountain pen ink. The bank stamping remains entirely clear of the signature. A missing tip of the lower right corner and a dog-ear of the upper left corner of the register stub account for the entirety of the condition issues. A modern print of an 8x10" photo is included for display. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
