    Description

1930's Babe Ruth Signed Photograph. Scarce image pictures the Babe as a member of the American squad while on the famous 1934 Tour of Japan, the "US" patch clearly visible on his left sleeve as he demonstrated the home run form that captivated yet another nation. Across his image, this legendary slugger has penned the bold black ink inscription, "To John Truemner, Sincerely Babe Ruth." The ink quality averages an impressive 9/10, and the 3.5x5.5" image shows only minor edge and corner wear, certainly nothing that detracts from the tremendous visual appeal. Signed images from this vastly important Tour are very tough to come by, and the quality of this example is all but unbeatable. LOA from PSA/DNA.
