1930's-90's Hall of Famers Signed Baseball with Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson. The only two men to have clubbed three home runs in a single World Series game share space on one of the very few artifacts to feature this unlikely pinstriped duo. Obviously it goes without saying that these signings were years apart, with the Babe (7/10) claiming the sweet spot of this OAL ball at some point before the discontinuation of red and blue stitching in 1934 (unfortunately the loss of League presidential stamping over the years has made more precise dating impossible). Appearing to sign at the same time, in the same bold black fountain pen ink, were fellow Yanks Lyn Lary and Roy Sherid. Along with the much later addition of Mr. October came equally strong (9/10) signatures from Warren Spahn, Phil Niekro and Mike Torrez. An odd assortment, to be sure, but its unique personnel is part of the ball's charm. Some dark spots on the ball appear to be early game use, as the signatures are all applied over the top of them. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
