    Description

1929 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Though one could argue that, technically, the 1950's was the greatest decade in Yankees history, the fiercest collecting love centers around the 1920's Murderer's Row days. Here we provide a witness to those glorious Golden years, an OAL (Barnard) sphere autographed by twenty-one early pinstripers. Most notable, of course, are Ruth (7/10) and Gehrig (4/10), who occupy the sweet spot and southern side panel respectively. Following this pair into Cooperstown are Hoyt, Pennock, Combs, Dickey, Durocher and Lazzeri. Durst, Grabowski, Bengough and Pipgras are also worthy of note. Signature quality ranges from 3/10 to 8/10, with all easily identifiable. With the Stadium falling at the close of the 2008 season, we expect early Yankee artifacts such as this to surge on a wave of nostalgia, so there's never been a better time to invest. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
