    Description

1929 Honus Wagner Signed Letter. More stylized and aesthetically pleasing than the more commonly seen geriatric version from the very Old Dutchman, the provided 10/10 blue fountain pen ink signature predates the iconic shortstop's Hall of Fame induction by seven years. The typed message on the letterhead of Wagner's eponymous sporting goods store regards the delivery of some gold baseballs (!) and concludes with Wagner's acceptance of an event invitation. The page is rather rumpled and bears deep original mailing folds, but it presents quite well despite these condition issues and the all-important signature is entirely unhindered. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
