1929 Babe Ruth Signed World Series (Chicago) Program. The mighty power of Connie Mack's 1929 Athletics put the Babe in the uncharacteristic role of October spectator as the Yankees finished a stunning eighteen games behind the eventual World Champs. Illustrating that there were no hard feelings, the Bambino turned out at the Chicago ballpark where he would call his Shot in three years' time, signing the center scorecard for a fan who recognized and approached the game's greatest star. The 10/10 pencil signature presents marvelously, with the only other writing on the spread being the words "Home Run" penned in Jimmie Foxx' box score row. The program remains solid and complete despite a vertical center fold that does not affect the Ruth autograph. A fine collectible from one of the final Major League Baseball games, and the most famous man, of the Roaring Twenties. LOA from PSA/DNA.
