    Description

1928 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The Murderer's Row Yankees were at their homicidal height at the time this sphere was passed around the Bronx clubhouse, in the midst of back-to-back World Series sweeps and record-shattering offensive production. This OAL (Johnson) baseball provides the signatures of twenty-four members of that illustrious squad, with Ruth (4/10) taking his customary sweet spot position, and fellow Hall of Famers Gehrig (4/10), Combs (4/10), Pennock (3/10), Lazzeri (5/10), Dickey (1/10), Durocher (1/10) and the very tough Miller Huggins (2/10) nearby. Waite Hoyt is also present, but has been enhanced at some point, as has teammate Tom Zachary. All other autographs remain untouched by later hands, and range from barely visible to 8/10. Not a pristine example, but an affordable opportunity for the collector wishing for his own brush with Golden Age greatness. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
