    Description

1928 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Baseball. It's the 1927 edition that gets all the love, but this team was every bit as dominant, winning over one hundred games and sweeping the World Series just as Murderer's Row had done. Presented is an "Official League" sphere from that greatest two-season stretch in Bronx history, autographed by ten World Champs. Babe Ruth commands his standard sweet spot position with 8/10 strength, his Cooperstown comrade Lou Gehrig equally bold to the east. Other notables include Waite Hoyt (6/10), Bob Shawkey, Lyn Lary and Ben Chapman. Average 7/10 throughout. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
