    Description

1928 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Baseball with Ruth, Gehrig, Huggins. Just nine autographs appear on this Official National League baseball stamped for use in the Eastern League, but four are names immortalized in Cooperstown bronze. The legendary slugging tandem of Ruth and Gehrig appear on the sweet spot and eastern panel respectively, rating 6/10 in black fountain pen ink. To the north we find the doomed, diminutive manager Miller Huggins, who would not live to see the end of the 1929 season. And, finally, a Hall of Famer who pitched his final fifty-eight innings for the 1928 World Champions, the great Stanley Coveleski, at 7/10 to the west. Bengough, Meusel and Collins are among the others. The ball exhibits mild toning and presents very well. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
