    Description

1928 Hazen "KiKi" Cuyler Single Signed Baseball Pitched by G.C. Alexander. Game used and single signed baseball collectors should prepare for battle here, as this tobacco-toned ONL sphere carries enormous appeal for both. A vintage notation attests to the attraction for the former, reading, "Pitched by 'Grover Cleveland Alexander (Cardinals), Fouled by 'KiKi' Cuyler (Cubs), April 29, 1928." The Cubs fell to their hosts at Sportsman's Park this date by a tally of five to two. After the game, the fan improved his souvenir by seeking out the vanquished Cub for his autograph, today rating a 4/10 on the ball's side panel. A splendid relic held by two of the greatest figures of the pre-war Senior Circuit. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
