1927 New York Yankees & Pittsburgh Pirates Signed World Series Baseball. The greatest force in baseball history was rumbling to its inevitable World Championship conclusion when a fan at Forbes Field sought out the top men on each pennant-winning squad to create this singular artifact. Of the sixteen autographs that adorn the surface of the presented ONL (Heydler) sphere, no fewer than ten would earn Cooperstown immortality, beginning with the iconic Babe Ruth (6/10), who had just completed his masterful sixty home run regular season campaign. Joining the Babe are Gehrig (2/10), Lazzeri (3/10), Huggins (9/10), Hoyt (4/10), Pennock (7/10), Cuyler (2/10), Traynor (1.5/10) and both Waner brothers (Lloyd 1/10, Paul 2/10). You could count on a single hand all of the team balls known to have been signed during the 1927 World Series, so this is a very special opportunity for the advanced collector. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
