    Description

1927 Babe Ruth Candy Document Archive with Signed Autograph. Intriguing lot is anchored by a 10/10 blue fountain pen ink signature on a blank business card from the Babe, as well as legal paperwork regarding the lawsuit against the makers of "Baby Ruth" candy bars, which clearly was attempting to cash in on the Yankee legend's fame. Includes: 1926 Babe Ruth signature to be used in the packaging of the George H. Ruth Candy Co; Baby Ruth Candy newspaper ads (3); letter & document copies & originals pertaining to the Curtis Candy company and their use of the "Baby Ruth" name (16). Papers exhibit some handling wear but no damage worthy of note. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
