    Description

1927-29 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Multi-Signed Baseball. This "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" baseball with red and blue stitches was manufactured by Reach and dates from the 1920's. The ball has toned to a grayish color and exhibits significant scuffs and chips to the outer covering but the stamping is still very evident.

The experts at James Spence Authentication have determined that the ball contains the autographs of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Cedric Durst, however only The Sultan of Swat's signature (across the sweet spot) is still legible with the naked eye. The Iron Horse and Durst need to be viewed under a black light in order to be discernable. Despite being affected by the ball's imperfections, Ruth's autograph can still be displayed as single from the peak of his career. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
