1926 Lou Gehrig Signed World Series Ticket Stub. It's the famous "Johnny Sylvester Game," labeled as such after the name of the young boy in the hospital to whom Babe Ruth promised a World Series Game 4 home run, delivering on that promise in triplicate. A vintage fan's notation on the front of the ticket makes note of the accomplishment, and it appears that he then handed it to a clubhouse attendant to get it signed by the Yankees' two great sluggers. Unfortunately the Ruth autograph was signed secretarially, but the early Gehrig just below it is 100% genuine, rating a solid 8/10. The ticket shows expected wear but nothing too drastic as to significantly diminish eye appeal. A neat relic from one of the most famous dates in 1920's Yankees baseball. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
