1926 Frank Frisch Signed New York Giants Contract. His blazing foot speed earned him the nickname "The Fordham Flash," and his nineteen esteemed seasons of National League service earned him a Cooperstown plaque. Presented is the document that secured Frisch's talents for his eighth Big League season as a starting outfielder for John McGraw, the Flash's final Polo Grounds campaign before a move to St. Louis. The terms include a $500 bonus for serving as captain above and beyond his $16,000 salary. Frisch signs along with team owner Charles Stoneham (CH) and another team official on the second page of the four-page Uniform Player's Contract. National League president John Heydler signs the contract's cover, where a typed notation assigns Frisch to the Cardinals on December 21, 1926, setting the stage for eventual Gashouse Gang glory. Contract exhibits original storage folds and general handling wear, but all autographs remain bold and the document solid and undamaged. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
