    Description

1926 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Baseball. Ty Cobb's last of twenty-two seasons in a Detroit Tigers uniform would come the season this OAL (Johnson) ball was autographed, though sadly the Georgia Peach appears here in secretarial format. There's still much to love here, however, and Golden Age baseballs from the Tigers are particularly scarce. Notable signers include a rookie Gehringer, Heilmann, Manush, Blue, Collins, Fothergill, Tavener, Manion and more. Autographs average an impressive 7.5/10, with none dipping below 4/10. A very solid specimen with plenty of Hall of Fame credentials even without the team leader. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
