    Description

1926 Babe Ruth Signed Photograph. Magnificent sepia studio portrait photograph was inscribed by the Bambino less than a month after he made what is arguably the greatest blunder of his storied career when he was caught stealing second to record the final out of the 1926 World Series. The Babe's black fountain pen ink registers at a strength of 8/10, and reads, "To 'Doc' Searle, A Regular honest to God fellow, From Babe Ruth, Nov. 7th, 1926." The photo has endured the passing eight decades marvelously, with a small imperfection at the upper right border, easily matted out when framed, the only issue of note. Size is 7.5x9.5". An elegant, early signed photo from the game's greatest name. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
