    Description

1925 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. It's unclear exactly why, but the 1925 Yankees are all but impossible to find on a team ball. Check the records--just one has sold in a major auction in the last dozen years. Here's the second, providing twenty-one autographs on an OAL (Johnson) ball. Unfortunately the sweet spot Ruth is secretarial, but the rest are the genuine article, and include Gehrig, Huggins, Combs, Pennock, Shocker, Merkle, O'Leary, Jones, O'Neill, Bengough, Schang, Veach and Ward. A vintage coating of shellac has provided limited success, but the average boldness registers between 2/10 and 3/10, with many quite hard to discern. Not an ideal specimen, but, as we've indicated, you may wait a very long time for the next offering. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
