    Description

1925 Baseball Stars Signed Autograph Book with Ruth, Cobb. It was one of the greatest times in history to be a baseball fan, and one smart kid took full advantage, documenting his brushes with greatness with the presented autograph album. Over 175 ballplayers have left their mark upon the pages within, including some of the biggest names in the game: Ruth, Cobb, Bancroft, Marquard, Joe Sewell, Sisler, Mc Gowan, Hugh Duffy, Tris Speaker, Lyons, Ruffing, Pipp, Dugan, Eddie Collins,Vance, Hooper, Combs. Noted bandleader John Phillip Souza is here as well! Our young collector was wise enough to insist upon fountain pen autographs, and all survive with the same boldness they enjoyed upon application. The book itself shows expected handling wear, but the contents are free of any condition concerns. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
