1924 New York Giants Team Signed Baseball. A notation in an unknown hand reading "1924 World Series" suggests rather forcefully that the presented ONL (Heydler) sphere was utilized in the unsuccessful campaign to vanquish Walter Johnson's Washington Senators in the famous Fall Classic. The Big Train's team must have been pretty solid, as we find Hack Wilson, Bill Terry, Ross Youngs, Travis Jackson and Heine Groh among the signatures still visible upon the ball's deeply toned surface. About fourteen autographs remain legible, averaging perhaps 3/10, while others have faded beyond recognition. Still a very desirable artifact for its intense scarcity and stunning assembly of legends. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
